Study: The ‘gateway drug’ is alcohol, not marijuana

A researcher has proved what stoners have known for a long time: alcohol is more likely to lead to hard drug use than marijuana. The idea that marijuana is a “gateway drug” is a myth that harkens back to the “Reefer Madness” era, which itself was a direct result of William Randolph Hearst’s efforts to get hemp banned to eliminate competition for his paper mills.

Something is wrong with this picture.

My parents had a wine tasting that obviously included more than wine…I just got a video from them of my dad, who is so “fucked up” (his words) from 12 tequila shots. He also instructed that the video not end up on the “fuckin’ internet.” Well, the video didn’t, but that doesn’t mean I won’t use this event to illustrate the contrast between my life and my parents’.

I’m 20 years old and I’m doing dishes and spraying for spiders tonight.
